FAQ's
What should I bring?
  • A valid ID
  • Do not bring alcohol!
  • Cash and Credit card for bar, food, and vendor purchases
  • The event admission is free, but bring a form of payment to support the event bar and food vendors.
What can I not bring?
  • Personal Coolers and alcohol.
  • OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  • ALCOHOL IS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE INSIDE THE VENUE.
What can I bring?
  • Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen
  • Warm clothes (it gets chilly after sunset)
  • Personal hand-held cameras (i.e. small digital or point-and-click cameras; no long/large/zoom/detachable lenses; no tripods; no pro cameras)
  • Unframed backpacks or fanny packs
  • Strollers/wagons
Where can I park?

WE SUGGEST YOU DO NOT DRIVE TO THE EVENT. WALK, BIKE, OR TAKE THE TOWN TROLLEY.

IF YOU MUST DRIVE:

There is  a parking lot across the street on the Minaret Road side of the Village at Mammoth. This specific parking area is a paid parking lot, where you can pay from an hour to whole days at a time. Traditionally, $2.50 for 2 hours, $5.00 for 4 hours, $10.00 for the evening until 2:00am, $20.00 for overnight until 8:00am.

What if it rains?

If it rains, hopefully, it will only be a fast-moving shower. The show will break, then continue. If there is significant lighting, the show will be paused indefinitely until it is safe to play.

The weather conditions in Mammoth Lakes can change quickly. The Village at Mammoth sits at 8,050 ft., always be prepared for a change of weather, no matter the season. Check current weather conditions and forecasts so you can be prepared.

 

In general, the weather conditions from August to September have average temperatures with lows in the 40’s to highs in the 70’s and 80’s, sometimes even 90’s. Layers are encouraged.

Can I get something to eat there?

Yes, there will be some amazing food vendors at the festival. The Village at Mammoth is the perfect place to dine, entertain and relax.

Can I bring my pet?

Leashed pets and Dogs are allowed in the village at Mammoth. However keep in mind that loud music and large crowds can be stressful for you pet and might be best to leave them at home. Well behaved dogs  are allowed at most of the restaurant outdoor patios throughout the village.

Please do not leave your pet in your car, or tied up outside of the festival.
